We understand that many of our pupils have a limited diet and accessing a wider variety of foods, including school meals,  is a challenege. The class team will have a flexible approach in supporting your child to widen diets and work towards experiencing school lunches.

Halal options are also available daily.

Free School Meals
To find out if your child is entitled to free school meals  apply here. 
Even if your child prefers not to have school meals, applying for free school meals means can provide us with further funding, supporting  your child in other  ways. 

Downs View uses ParentPay to enable parents to easily pay for meals, uniform, school trips and other payment items in a secure and convenient way. 

Paying for School Meals

ParentPay offers you the freedom to make payments whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest internet security available. 

You will have a secure online account, activated using a unique username and password that the school will send to you within the first few weeks of your child starting at Downs View. You will be prompted to change these, and to keep them safe and secure.  If you have more than one child at our school, or children at other ParentPay schools, you can create a single account login for all your children.

Making a payment is straightforward and ParentPay holds a payment history for you to view at a later date; no card details are stored in any part of the system. Once you have activated your account you can make online payments straight away

ParentPay can also be used in conjunction with PayPoint, please contact the School Office if you wish to use the PayPoint facility
